What an amazing weekend. Taking a mental health mini-vacay away from your hometown can certainly do a person good! We did a lot of skiing (Brody too), a lot of good eating, and a lot of having fun! Just a little sneak peak into our little get-away to our favorite place in CO!

This post today is meant for my challenge group participants. Truth: I worked my A$$ off this morning. I did Turbofire Fire 30 & Isometrix.
Truth: I cannot stand a day of just yoga. As much as I LOVE it and it is so good for your mind, body, and soul. I need my cardio fix on those days as well. Truth: I also added abs. Truth: I worked super hard today because I will be taking the day off tomorrow. (Well as "off" as you can take it while hitting the slopes in beautiful Crested Butte, CO!)
Not every day is going to be perfect. Tomorrow I plan on eating my normal healthy breakfast, skiing, having a *gasp* Bloody Mary, skiing some more, hitting up Pits in Paradise tomorrow night for their soup bar and grilled pita. I plan on going to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, because: well it's our tradition. The truth is over the past 95 days there has been some cheat days. Now, being over 3 months in, my metabolism can handle it. The thing to remember here is this: You do not HAVE to give everything you love up. If you try to do that you will go nuts, that and you will probably end up having a binge day. If you do have a cheat day or a day where you "fall off the wagon" the key is to get right back up and continue. Do NOT give up. Anyways: if you are one of our challengers - We won't let you!

Did I say that the warrior was difficult? hahahaha CVX was insane. I LOVED it. Cardio + weight training = perfect workout for me! Think you need to join an expensive gym to get in shape or need tons of equipment? Think again. All I needed today was a towel, a free weight (5# was good for me due to how you don't put the weight down for nearly the entire workout - Corey started with 8# but switched to 5 after the first 10 minutes) Great workout. 1/2 hour, done and over. I'm going to be sore tomorrow!

Wow - they were both incredible workouts! The warrior was INTENSE - designed for the US troops and taught by Tony Horton to the troops themselves on bases all over the world. I was drenched in sweat. Literally from head to toe!
We also did a Plank Challenge in our group today. Check out the little dude under me! He is my yoga/plank/zen master. He says yoga is good for stretching his feet! I agree.

Hello again! I am back after a long break. I started blogging my Turbofire journey - then stopped about a month ago because of the holidays, spending time with family, and really really focusing on my health and fitness! It's a new year - a new me. I am committed to blogging every day of my next 90 day challenge. Even if it is just a picture. I want to share my next 90 days with you - during P90X3. Started day one yesterday:
I am doing the lean circuit so I started with Accelerator. WOW. Totally challenging and good. I loved it. My planking needs some work though! My hubby and I finished Turbofire and got amazing results. Hoping to focus in on muscle building now, instead of just loosing weight. Building muscle and getting some abs going on is my goal during P90X3. Here are our Turbofire results:
Day 2 of P90X3 starts today. Stay tuned!
